Follow your body's natural rhythm without restrictions. The HÅG Capisco makes this possible with a variety of seating positions that adapt to your everyday life.

Upright

The saddle seat positions your legs at a relaxed angle. This allows your pelvis to align naturally. Your back will thank you with a more stable posture and less tension.

Turned around

Just turn around. Yes, really! When you sit backwards, the backrest supports your sternum. Ideal for focused work in a forward-leaning posture – without rounding your back.

Sidewards

Just as we naturally turn over at night, a change of position is also beneficial during the day. The Capisco encourages you to sit sideways, ensuring neither side is neglected.

Relaxed

The curved backrest allows the upper back to relax. This helps you stay open, upright, and breathe noticeably more freely, even after hours at your desk.

A chair that adapts to you.

Everyday life is characterized by natural movement, yet sitting is often still considered static when using many normal chairs.

Based on the conviction that no sitting position is ideal for extended periods, the Capisco encourages regular movement and changes in posture. Thanks to intuitive levers, it can be quickly adjusted to any body and any position.

Few components

Fewer components mean fewer tools, fewer processes, less packaging, and less energy consumption. The HÅG Capisco has been continuously developed since 1984; a redesign in 2006 significantly reduced materials and components, for example through the use of recycled plastic and a simplified backrest with only 6 parts instead of 19.

Recycled Materials

Through ongoing research and partnerships, HÅG has increased the proportion of recycled materials without compromising on quality.

The Capisco is made from 49.5% recycled materials (waste from consumer and industrial sources).

Who is the HÅG Capisco suitable for?

The Capisco is ideal for people who spend a lot of time at their desks and value active sitting with plenty of movement and variety.

Do you like to change your sitting position in everyday life and feel restricted by classic chairs? The Capisco gives you the freedom of movement you need.

It is suitable for almost all body sizes between 150 and 200 cm.

What is special about the design of the Capisco?

The saddle shape of the HÅG Capisco is inspired by the rider's seat and promotes an open seat angle as well as a natural pelvic alignment. This helps maintain the natural S-curve of the spine.

The open design of the backrest and seat offers maximum freedom of movement and invites a dynamic change of sitting position – forward, sideways or vice versa.

The design follows the ergonomic principle: "The next sitting position is always the best."

Is the Capisco also suitable for height-adjustable desks?

Yes! In combination with a higher gas spring, the Capisco is perfect for sit-stand workstations. It allows for easy transitions from sitting to standing without putting pressure on the legs.

What are the differences between the various models?

Capisco 8106 : Classic model with backrest and without headrest.

Capisco 8107 : Like the 8106, but with a headrest.

Capisco Puls (8010, 8020) : A simplified version of the Capisco made of plastic (8010), optionally with a padded seat (8020)

What seat height should I choose?

The HAG Capisco is available with three gas springs. The specified seat heights are measured with a load of approximately 64 kg. The saddle shape of the seat places you slightly higher than on a normal office chair – this allows for an open leg position and a natural, upright posture.
