The Capisco is well suited for users who spend a lot of time at their desks and value active sitting with plenty of movement and variety.
Do you like to change your sitting position in everyday life and feel restricted by classic chairs? The Capisco gives you the freedom of movement you need.
It is suitable for almost all body sizes between 150 and 200 cm.

The saddle shape of the HAG Capisco is inspired by the rider's seat and promotes an open seat angle as well as a natural pelvic alignment. This helps maintain the natural S-curve of the spine.
The design follows the ergonomic principle: "The next sitting position is always the best." The open design of the backrest and seat offers maximum freedom of movement and encourages dynamic changes in sitting position, for example forward, sideways, or even backwards.

Yes! The Capisco unfolds its full potential at the sit-stand workstation. It allows a smooth transition from sitting to sitting-standing without putting pressure on the legs.
This allows you to flexibly organize your work rhythm and quickly switch between different heights.

What are the differences between the various models?
What are the differences between the various models?
- Capisco 8106 : The classic model with a backrest and upholstery. Timeless and proven.
- Capisco 8107 : Like the 8106, but with an additional headrest for more support in reclined positions.
- Capisco Puls 8010 : A lighter version with a plastic seat shell and backrest. Suitable for short periods of sitting.
- Capisco Puls 8020 : Like the 8010, but with a padded seat for added comfort.
What seat height should I choose?
What seat height should I choose?
The HAG Capisco is available with three gas springs. The specified seat heights are measured with a load of approximately 64 kg. The saddle shape of the seat places you slightly higher than on a normal office chair – this allows for an open leg position and a natural, upright posture.

With the tall 265 mm gas spring, you can raise your Capisco to an almost standing height to use the chair as a standing support in a leaning position.

A foot ring is useful if you use the high 265 mm gas spring and regularly work in an elevated position. It provides a comfortable resting place for your feet and relieves strain on your legs.
With a normal seat height using the 150 mm or 200 mm gas spring, a foot ring is usually not necessary.

The Capisco is available in a wide selection of fabrics and colors. In addition to classic synthetic fabrics, we also offer various wool fabrics and leather. We would be happy to advise you personally on which cover is best suited to your needs. You can learn more about the different fabrics here.

Choosing the right casters depends on your flooring:
- Soft casters for hard floors such as parquet, laminate, tiles or vinyl. They protect the floor and roll more easily.
- Hard casters for soft floors such as carpet or rugs. They glide more easily over the higher resistance of the carpet.

We have many models in stock that are available for immediate delivery and will usually arrive within 3 working days.
Custom models are manufactured in Norway according to your specifications. Delivery time is typically 4-6 weeks.

Is the Capisco delivered assembled?
Is the Capisco delivered assembled?
The Capisco comes in a box in four parts: backrest, seat, gas spring, and base. Assembly is incredibly easy: simply slot the parts together and tighten a single screw that connects the backrest and seat. You can find more information in our instructions .
